Our Community Work

Calgary is home to Canada's fourth-largest Chinatown. The fact that the Chinese culture is still preserved within Chinatown is the product of the collective efforts of the active members of the Sien Lok Society. Since 1968, we have not rested in our efforts in creating an environment where the Chinese way of life is cherished. We continue to commit ourselves to the betterment of the Chinese community in Calgary and throughout Canada. With the support from our enthusiastic volunteers and various fundraising programs, we are able to contribute to society. Our ultimate motto is to promote and preserve the Chinese Canadian culture.
